Tiffany Court is an occupied residential block in Leicester managed by SDL Bigwoods. A storm took the roof covering off and exposed a deck that was already failing, so the building needed a full re-deck quickly, with the residents staying in their homes.
A temporary roof was erected over the building on scaffold so the deck could be stripped in the dry. The old deck came off, the joists were repaired, and a new 18mm plywood deck was fixed across the whole roof. A Bauder Total Roofing system with tapered insulation was then installed, with a new rooflight, new fascia and a GRP trim to the outer face.
The whole job, from the temporary roof going up to the guarantee being issued, was delivered to the client within two weeks.
