Established in 2019, Absolute Waterproofing Ltd is a specialist commercial flat roofing and waterproofing contractor with a strong technical foundation and extensive industry experience. The company was founded by two directors with backgrounds in flat roofing manufacturing, bringing manufacturer-level technical knowledge and practical installation experience to every project we undertake.

About us

Manufacturer knowledge, installer experience

Our directors' backgrounds in flat roofing manufacture mean we understand not only how roofing systems are installed, but also how they are designed, specified and expected to perform over their service life.

Our aim is simple: to provide clients with reliable, technically appropriate and professionally installed flat roofing solutions, supported by clear communication and a high standard of workmanship.

We work predominantly within the commercial sector, from smaller roofing works through to large-scale commercial projects, refurbishment, re-roofing and new build, and we operate nationwide from our two offices in Coleshill and Congleton. As part of the Absolute Group we can also bring scaffolding, industrial sheeting and cladding, pitched roofing, solar PV and safety netting under one appointment.

Our directors' backgrounds within the manufacturing sector give Absolute Waterproofing a strong technical advantage. Having worked closely with roofing systems at manufacturer level, we understand the importance of correct specification, preparation, detailing and installation.

This manufacturer-led knowledge is combined with experienced site teams and dedicated project management, allowing us to manage projects from initial survey and specification through to installation and final completion.

We believe that successful waterproofing is about more than simply installing a membrane. Every element of the system needs to work together to provide a durable, watertight and long-lasting roof.

Our approach

Seven steps, every project

Every project is different, and we take the time to understand the requirements of the building, client and end user before recommending a solution.

1. Initial consultation and roof survey

Assessing the existing roof construction, condition and requirements. A surveyor attends site, inspects the roof and its details, takes core samples where needed and photographs everything, at no cost.

2. Technical assessment

Identifying the most appropriate waterproofing and insulation solution for the building, based on performance, longevity, budget and the characteristics of the roof.

3. Specification and quotation

A clear proposal tailored to the project, written with the manufacturer so the finished roof can carry their insurance backed guarantee.

4. Project planning

Coordinating labour, materials, access, health and safety and programme requirements, with the construction phase plan and RAMS agreed before anyone arrives on site.

5. Professional installation

Delivering the specified roofing system in accordance with manufacturer requirements and industry standards, by our own trained operatives.

6. Project management and inspection

One contracts manager oversees each project from start to finish, maintaining quality and communication throughout the works with weekly inspections.

7. Completion and handover

The manufacturer inspects and signs off, the guarantee is issued, and the handover file with drawings, data sheets and the maintenance schedule follows.
