Waterproofing works to a headquarters office building on an occupied business park, with access and deliveries planned around tenants and car parking.
One Central Boulevard is a headquarters office building on Blythe Valley Park in Solihull, fully occupied and with a car park that the tenants needed every day of the project.
The waterproofing works were planned around the building: scaffold and edge protection positioned to keep the car park usable, deliveries timed away from the morning and evening peaks, and the roof phased so the offices below were never exposed. The roof carries plant and ductwork, all of which was detailed and encapsulated within the new membrane.
The result is a clean, guaranteed membrane roof with permanent edge protection, handed over with the drawings and maintenance schedule the building manager needs.
